DIGITAL ELEVATION MODEL (DEM)
Users can overlay different layers of geo-data created from different sources onto a same area for analysis and interpretation in a DEM. There are many ways to create DEMs using different sources. DES is the value-added reseller of US based Intermap Technologies. They use their proprietary aircraft equipped with IFSAR technology (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) to collect raw radar data that can be used to create DEM for a wide range of innovative geospatial solutions, such as:

The beauty about IFSAR technology is that it is there are no weather restrictions – it penetrates clouds, haze, fog, dust, light rain and even snow. Its accuracy is 50cm in Z and is ideal for larger areas as they can collect data at a maximum rate of 4,000 km per hour.
